The Allahu-Akbar Tehreek (AAT) is a political party in Pakistan. It was established in 1995 to promote a moderate and legal form of Islamic law in the country.

The AAT has an ideology of Islamic revivalism that it seeks to achieve through election to public office in Pakistan. It holds to the belief that democracy, economic justice and human rights should be rooted firmly in the Islamic faith. In addition to its commitment to building a strong economic system, the AAT advocates for the simplification of laws.

The AAT expresses a strong commitment to tackling poverty and riding the country of what it calls “international hegemony”. It believes in the importance of building cultural and social bridges between Pakistan and the rest of the world, and it strongly supports international peace, cooperation, and solidarity. It also stands in firm opposition to any form of religious extremism.

The party's founding members, including its current Chairman Muhammad Abdullah, have studied and taught at universities around the world. They are dedicated to pursuing a national mission of “strict adherence to the Islamic concepts of justice, economic development, and the preservation of inpidual freedoms”.

The AAT is also dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of religious tolerance and mutual respect. The party holds to the belief that all citizens of Pakistan are equal before the eyes of Allah and should be given the same rights and opportunities regardless of the religion, race, or status.

The AAT has been involved in a number of initiatives to improve public safety and reduce crime. It has called for reform of the criminal justice system, improved police training, and enhanced social programs to address poverty. In 2012, it established the AAT Centre for Human Rights, which provides legal aid and vocational training.

The AAT has also been vocal in its support of women’s rights. The party has actively sought to promote women’s right to education, health care, and employment. In 2017, the AAT launched a “Redressing the Gender Equity” movement, which is focused on ensuring that women are given equal rights and opportunities in the workplace.

The Allahu-Akbar Tehreek continues to gain widespread popularity amongst Pakistani citizens and its influence is increasing both in the political arena and in business. With its strong commitment to Islamic values and its ability to respond to the changing needs of the people, the AAT is sure to remain a key player in the Pakistani political landscape for years to come.
